ASMI is a non-profit trade association formed in 1968 to promote the interests of the marine industry in Singapore. ASMI represents a wide cross-section of the Singapore ship repair and shipbuilding industry. All the major ship-repair yards, rig builders and shipbuilders in Singapore as well as most of the established local and foreign manufacturers and suppliers of marine components, and major marine engineering companies are among its members. It also represents marine contractors and those companies whose activities are directly related to the industry including classification societies and marine consultants. Eligibility Criteria |
- Full-time diploma in Marine & Offshore Technology (MOT), Mechantronic Engineering (MTE), Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Electrical Engineering (EE)
- Good academic results
- Financial need
- Good character

Tenure and Value of Award |
- Tenable for up to 3 years, subject to consistent good academic & CCA records and / or donor’s decision.
- Value: $5,000

- Interested students may submit an online application after login from https://npalstudent.np.edu.sg upon receiving notice to apply.
- Please submit relevant documents with application form to Student Services Office at Blk 4, #01-07.

Condition of Award |
- Successful applicants will be bonded to the sponsoring shipyard for service upon graduation.
- Award recipient must sign a deed with sponsoring shipyard and 2 sureties (Gainfully employed Singaporean / PR with monthly income of at least $1,500)
