FRESHMEN with outstanding ‘O’ Level results and are high achievers in their co-curricular activities (CCAs) are eligible for these prestigious awards:

Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) Merit Award

Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) Engineering Merit Award
· Design & Environment (DE) Study Award
All scholarships, except for the NP Merit Award, NP Engineering Merit Award and DE Study Award, are tenable for three years. These scholarships cover annual tuition fees payable by Singapore Citizen (SC) students and a one-time notebook allowance. Recipients of most donor scholarships will also get a living allowance.
Scholarship recipients will have a chance to enrol in The Christieara Programme (TCP). This specially tailored three-year programme is aimed not only at developing students’ leadership qualities and expanding their intellectual horizons but also enhancing their career preparation and academic progression beyond NP.
As an added bonus, recipients will have opportunity to apply for the coveted Overseas Merit Fellowship to California, UK or Australia or the Asia Merit Award in the end of the second year.
Interested students need to submit only one application to be considered for all the above-mentioned scholarships and awards. You may also apply for bursary concurrently if you are eligible. Scholarship recipients (for awards that cover tuition fee only) are now allowed to hold a government funded bursary concurrently.
