The Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) Scholarship is offered to freshmen and current students from the Diplomas in ECH and CPEE with passion to work in the early childhood sector after completing their diploma. Eligibility |
- Freshmen from Diploma in ECH or Diploma in CPEE students
- Good GCE ‘O’ level results
- Good CCA achievements
- Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
- Good character and conduct
- Passion to work with children
- Applicants should not be in receipt of any other scholarship, bursary or grant from any organisation for the current academic year

Scholarship Awards and Conditions |
- Award value of up to $19,050 covering:
- Annual tuition fees payable by Singapore Citizen students and miscellaneous fee
- Learning resource allowance (once-off)
- Training allowance(for 3 years) - Option to enrol in The Christieara Programme
- Tenable for 3 years, yearly renewal subject to fulfilment of criteria i.e consistent good academic, CCA s and/or donor’s decision
- Final year internship at PCF or NTUC First Campus or private operators
- Bond to MCYS child care sector for 2 years upon completion of the course
- Min Attendance of 90% for each module
- Liquidated damages will apply if student withdraw from course or does not complete the required bond
