AT Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP), we are on the constant lookout for students with excellent academic performance, leadership qualities and diverse talents. Through our extensive range of scholarships, talented students are given due recognition and encouragement to achieve greater heights!

Our students can look forward to a host of scholarships, offered in partnership with our sponsors. These scholarships include the NP Scholarship, Sir Gareth Roberts Memorial Scholarship, NP Engineering Scholarship, NP Academic Achievement Scholarship, NP Merit Award, NP Sports Award, NP Arts Award and Donor Scholarships.

For freshmen, the scholarships, tenable for three years, cover tuition fees, book allowance and a one-time notebook allowance. Most donor scholarships provide a living allowance as well.

The scholarship-holders will be enrolled in The Christieara Programme (TCP). This specially tailored three-year programme is aimed not only at developing students’ leadership qualities and expanding their intellectual horizons but also enhancing their career preparation and academic progression beyond NP.

And here’s more good news for the coming academic year. Over the past three years, the number of scholarships awarded by NP has risen in tandem with the rising calibre of NP students. In AY 2011, we have awarded more than 700 scholarships to deserving students, and we are prepared to award even more scholarships in AY2012!

Scholarship applicants may also apply for bursary concurrently if you are eligible. Scholarship recipients (for awards that cover tuition fee only) are now allowed to hold a government funded bursary concurrently.
