Every student must know the emergency and evacuation plan of his/her workshop and building.
 

Measures are to be observed:
1. Know the escape routes, exits and staircases in the place of work
   and also where the fire extinguishers are kept.
In case of fire,
1. Raise the fire alarm, shout “fire, fire!”
2. Fight the fire if it is safe to do so.
3. Ensure the Singapore Civil Defence Force is summoned (call 995).
4. Leave the area without delay.
5. Report to the assembly area to enable a head count.
6. Report if any fellow student is trapped in the affected area.

In case of injury,
1.Seek help (see “Procedures for accidents and medical emergencies”).
