The Industrial Training Programme or ITP is a 7-week programme over the students’ long vacations. The students involved in the ITP are from the School of  Business Studies and Accountancy  and the School of Engineering, Building and Environment Division.

The Industrial Attachment Programme or IAP is a programme from 2 to 6 months  and is in great demand from the industrial and commercial sectors. Students are with the organizations from April to September and from October to March. 

The rate of IAP allowances varies from $450 to $600 depending on the course of the students. The ITP rate of allowances is a minimum rate of $440 per month for each student.

Students are not required to contribute to the Central Provident Fund and the participating companies do not have to make payment of Payroll Tax.
