Operating Hours:
Most facilities are open for use at the following times unless otherwise stated.

Mondays – Saturdays: 9am – 9pm
Sundays & Public Holidays: 9am – 7pm

Swimming Pools
Mondays & Thursdays: 7:30am – 8:30am & 12pm – 9pm
Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Fridays & Saturdays 7.30 am to 9 pm
Sundays & Public Holidays: 9 am – 7pm
*There are no life guards on duty. Students are requested to produce their student passes when entering the swimming pool. Proper swim wear is to be worn in the pools and no footwear is permitted at the pool deck.

Booking of Facilities

All full-time students of the Polytechnic may book the facilities for recreational use. Each student is entitled to book an hour a week per facility. Booking can be made a week in advance.

Hourly bookings can be made online through the Sports Facilities Booking System.

Block bookings of facilities can be made through the Student Development Section Office. These bookings are for Competition and Club training. No booking is needed for social play at the Admin Field. Booking for the Main Field is only permitted for Competitions and club activities.

Loan of Equipment
Student can borrow the following equipment during Opening Hours:

• Basketball
• Carrom Board
• Netball
• Soccer
• Table tennis Bats/Ball

Rules & Regulations
Only full-time students may use the facilities and no guests are allowed. Users of the facilities shall take care of the facilities and obey all the rules on signboards and instructions by authorised staff.

Students must be properly attired for the activity they are engaged in. Players are required to wear light-coloured sole and non-marking court shoes when using the Badminton & Squash courts.

No food and drinks are allowed inside the Sports Hall, Squash Courts and on the Pool Deck.

Report any damage to the Student Development Section immediately.

The Polytechnic reserves the right to cancel any booking without any notice.

Students are reminded that they must not leave their valuables unattended. Coin operated lockers are available for short-term rental.

Play is NOT allowed if field is wet.

Lightning:
Please stop all outdoor activities and move indoors immediately when the lightning warning is issued. This warning will be in the form of:

1. announcements through the PA system and activation of flashing lights and siren at the Sports Complex.
2. announcements by the campus security guards and activation of flashing lights and siren at Admin Field, Blk 50 Field and Kismis Field.
