Use of Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) to pay for Enrichment Programmes (including Overseas Student Programmes)

Students may apply to withdraw amount from their or their siblings’ Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) to pay fees for enrichment programmes approved by the Polytechnic, including Overseas Student Programmes (OSP), if the fee payable (inclusive of GST, if applicable) by them is $100 or more.

The maximum amount that can be withdrawn for OSP is cost less any subsidy or any other forms of sponsorship that the student will be given with respect to the OSP.

To apply for withdrawal from PSEA to pay for Enrichment Programmes, please download PSEA ad-hoc withdrawal form and submit the completed form to your advisors for the Enrichment Programmes or OSPs by due dates given by them.

Overseas Student Programme Loan

Only Singapore Citizens are eligible to apply for the Overseas Student Programme (OSP) Loan.

Each Singaporean student is eligible to receive the OSP Loan only once during his course of study.

The student must not concurrently hold another loan, award, bursary or scholarship that covers the full costs of the OSP.  If the student is already in receipt of a loan, bursary, award or scholarship that covers part of the expenses for the OSP, he may apply for the OSP loan to cover the remaining cost for the OSP, less any subsidy given to the student by NP and less any amount withdrawn or to be withdrawn from PSEA with respect to the OSP.

The minimum amount for OSP Loan is $500.
