Depending on your level of readiness to start your job search, you can use one of the following services or simply make an appointment with a Career Guidance Counsellor (CGC).


General Career Information

A range of online and physical resources are avaialble if you prefer to browse for information on your own. You might want to use this service if you already know what job you want, are familiar with job preparation and need less personal guidance. This service is available at the Library ‘Career and Further Studies Corner’, Level 3. You can access the online resource at http://www.np.edu.sg/library/internetresources/career.htm.


General Career Advice

If you are familiar with job preparation but unsure at the kind of jobs that are available in your discipline area, career path in a particular industry, job functions, pay scale etc and need some general career advice, you can see the CGC at your own school or division.  To view the list of CGC, click here.

Career Discovery and Personality Profiling

This service is available if you would like to discover the career path that best suits your personality. Our CGC will use simple career discovery tools to help you discover more about your strengths and weaknesses and how to capitalize them in your career search. The Career Discovery and Personality Profiling sessions may span over 2 or more sessions and are available by appointment  only. Resume Review Services and Interview Preparation

This service is available if you would like us to review your resume before you start applying for jobs. We can also prepare you for interviews by putting you through a mock interview.
