Singapore is one of the most comprehensive aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) hubs in Asia-Pacific. The aerospace sector has enjoyed a robust growth, achieving a record output of S$6.9b in 2007.

With over 100 aerospace companies employing more than 18,000 people to serve both regional and global markets, the aerospace industry is projected to create 18,000 new jobs by 2018.

The Aerospace Technology Centre  is set up to meet the challenges posed by the training needs of the aviation industries especially in Manufacturing; Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), and Aviation-related services.

To be a centre dedicated to aerospace related studies and applications.

Mission

To serve as a platform for training and the sharing of aerospace technologies.
