Applied Research and Technology at School of Engineering

The School of Engineering encourages its staff to be actively involved in applied research and technology development activities with the objectives of

• developing our capability to support R&D;
• enhancing our innovation capability; and
• imparting latest technology know-how to our students.

The school comprises various technology groups that are actively engaged in technology and expertise development activities covering diverse areas. Each group is supported by one or more technology centres and laboratories set-up across the school.

We welcome opportunities to work with individuals, companies, institutions and other organisations in applied R&D, innovation and proof-of-concept development, technical consultancy and manpower training.
