F1 in Schools – The Singapore Challenge 2009 was held at the Ngee Ann Polytechnic Convention Centre on 29 July 2009. The national finals for the F1 in Schools event saw 29 Secondary Schools and 8 T-Net clubs competing in various categories of the competition.
With a turn-out crowd of about 800, comprising about 700 secondary
school students and teachers, the participants and audiences were entertained with many F1 and motor-racing related displays and games.
The participating schools decorated their display booths for the Best Marketing and Sponsorship competition.
The participants and audiences were seated at the Ngee Ann Convention Centre. They were entertained with performances of our Polytechnic students, presentation by Mr Hafiz Koh and the fastest car competition.
The audiences cheered and supported their schools racers in the Fastest
Car Race.
Overall Champion Henderson Secondary School posed a picture with Mr Hafiz Koh after the event.
