The Competition was held at the Science Centre Singapore from 18 to 22 March 2013. Team Altair from NP Aerospace Electronics course design and build a small air platform to navigate an indoor obstacle course.
 
ECE 2013 graduate Albert Khoo won the 'Design and Build a Ruggedised Computer Competition' organised by Defence Science Technology Agency held on 22 March 2013.
 
On 5th March 2013, an MOU was penned between NP & IBM which marked a new strategic collaboration between IBM, one of the pioneers in Cloud Computing and NP, one of the leading polytechnics in Singapore.
