Congrats to Chen Yihang & Gong Yi Lin, beating all other tertiary teams to emerge tops, winning the much-coveted 2nd prize award of $6,000 (there being no 1st prize winner this year)!
 
A group of 1800 ‘O’ level graduating students participated in the 3-day RED Camp 8 adventure, held from 22nd to 24th Nov 2011 at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. For the 8th year and counting, the Camp was organized as a Roadmap to Explore and Discover Ngee Ann.
 
NP lecturer Ng Beng Kiat broke the world record in the 32nd All Japan Micromouse Contest held in Tsukuba, Japan on November 2011, clinching the world championship title, beating more than 80 entries from countries such as the USA, Japan, UK and Taiwan.
 
Our Engineering graduates enjoy two-year advanced standing, enabling them to complete the four-year degrees in two years. These courses provide them the opportunity to progress seamlessly to a prestigious overseas degree.
 
Eureka! 2011 is organized by the ECE Division of the School of Engineering, and held at the Alpha Centre on 25 Oct. It comprised two challenges - Mystery of the Body Parts & Hovercraft Race. Eureka! Fringe was also held in conjunction with the event.

Five 2nd Year Aerospace Electronics students won second prize in the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) Student Challenge 2011 held early this year. This competition is opened to all students from ITE, polytechnics and universities.
 
Two groups of Ngee Ann Polytechnic Mechanical Engineering students won the 10th IES Design Awards.
 
Daryl Wee Yi Xiang, the gold medallist graduate of the Diploma in Real Estate Business course in 2009, has just been offered a place at the prestigious University of Cambridge, UK.
