The Youth Expedition Project (YEP) was launched in February 2000. It is an innovative learning programme that prepares young Singaporeans to be world-ready to take on the social challenges of the new millennium. Through active engagement in overseas community service projects guided by trained facilitators, YEP participants will;

Develop group and leadership skills,
Raise their awareness and appreciation of foreign cultures,
Understand socio-economic development issues,
Re-awaken their sense of community spirit and social responsibility.
