Two lecturers, Mr Chua Beng Koon and Ms Eva Rosdiana, and their former student, Mr Yang Chee Yun, have also successfully developed efficient logarithms for decoding Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) data services like stream mode Dynamic Label Segment and Slideshow, and packet mode Broadcast website. The algorithms are written in Java and can be easily adapted for use with any commercial DAB receiver available in the market. This enhances PC-based DAB receivers to a truly multimedia digital radio system. The DAB system is a multimedia digital radio system which supports the broadcasting of data services. | |
