About the Diploma

From the laptops and smart phones that we use to the planes that we fly, everything in modern life involves electronics in some way.

So take note: if you would like to shape the way people live, work and play, then this Diploma in Electronic & Computer Engineering (ECE) is for you.

One of the most established electronics diplomas in Singapore, ECE will provide you with a strong foundation in electronics, computer and telecommunication engineering.

Right from your first year, you can join enrichment programmes in engineering and non-engineering fields. Under these programmes, you will attend talks by industry experts, go on industry visits and undertake final-year projects at NTU under the mentorship of their lecturers. Selected students can even go on a specially-designed overseas immersion where they will visit leading organisations and universities in Asian countries such as China.

In your third year, our specialisation options will train you to join the growing aviation, digital media, IT and robotics sectors. You can also put your knowledge to the test with a six-month internship with industry leaders such as IBM, Motorola and DSO National Laboratories.
