Giving you that something xtra

  • Up to 25% of the curriculum is made up of business management modules

  • Choose your engineering diploma towards the end of your first semester

  • Nine popular engineering diploma courses to pick from

About the Programme

A programme like no other, the Engineering with Business Management (EBM) programme is jointly offered by Ngee Ann’s School of Business & Accountancy and School of Engineering. With up to 25% of its curriculum made up of business management modules, it is an alternative pathway if you prefer a broadbased education.

As an EBM student, you will also have more time to decide on which engineering discipline to pursue – you will only have to decide on your choice of engineering diploma towards the end of your first semester!

You will graduate with the combined knowhow of engineering and business management – meaning you can expect more opportunities for your career and further education.

Business management modules by Singapore’s premier poly business school
Designed to build your expertise in a core engineering discipline while providing insights into business fundamentals, EBM offers business management modules that cover financial management, marketing, entrepreneurship and more.

You will then get to put your business management knowledge into practice while working on your final-year project!

Join now, choose later!
To top it all, EBM lets you choose your engineering discipline towards the end of your first semester – after you’ve gained a better understanding of the various engineering disciplines.

So, opt for EBM if you need more time to explore and discover your interests. Here are the various engineering diplomas you can pick from:

• Aerospace Electronics
• Aerospace Technology
• Audio-visual Technology
• Automation & Mechatronic Systems
• Biomedical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronic & Computer Engineering
• Marine & Offshore Technology
• Mechanical Engineering

Keen to take up the challenge? Just indicate the course code N71 (Engineering with Business Management Programme) as your first choice during the Joint Admissions Exercise.

To improve your chances of being posted into the engineering course of your choice, be sure to put down another engineering course from Ngee Ann Polytechnic as your second choice.

Chuan Meng : Hey Samantha, I'm applying to study Electronic & Computer Engineering at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. How about you?
Samantha : I'm keen on Engineering too, but am not sure which course is best for me.
Chuan Meng : Then you should apply for the Engineering With Business Management (EBM) at Ngee Ann where you'll take a broad range of Engineering modules in the first semester, and then decide which area to pursue after that.
Samantha : Wow! Sounds cool! How do I apply for it?
Chuan Meng : During the Joint Admissions Exercise, just indicate the course code N71-Engineering With Business Management as your First Choice. Then you can decide after one semester which course you want to take.
