NEW SPECIALISATIONS!
Modern aviation is an exciting thing – fast paced, always changing and full of dynamic new challenges. That’s why we’ve launched three new specialisations to add on to the strong aerospace engineering foundation we’ve always offered:
- Aerospace Design – equip yourself with the design knowledge and computational skills you need to design for the aerospace industry. You will explore every stage of the exciting design journey, from conceptualisation to simulation and analysis.
- Aviation Management – gain an insight into airport operations, aviation network planning and business management. You will graduate with a strong technical foundation, a broader view of the industry, and added exposure to the world of aviation management.
- Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul – take up this option and arm yourself the technical and maintenance knowledge of aircraft…the skills that have established Singapore as one of the top aviation maintenance hubs in the world!

Curious about how a plane gets up into the air and brings you across the ocean to your destination? Or have you ever wondered what role the very cool-sounding subsonic wind tunnel plays in the design of an aircraft? Enrol into our Diploma in Aerospace Technology (AT) and find out!
Here, you will study the major aerospace disciplines. You will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to be part of a team that certifies aircraft like the Airbus A380 and Boeing Dreamliner fit for flight.
You will also have a great time learning at our high-tech Aerospace Hub, which is home to state-of-the-art training facilities such as our cockpit motion flight simulator.
What’s more, a strong emphasis on Design Thinking and Practice in our curriculum will give you an edge in jobs that involve creating innovative solutions for harnessing clean energy, developing new materials and processes, and designing and manufacturing of aerospace components.
As an AT student, you will then be given the chance to hone your skills and knowledge with a four-month local or overseas internship with leading aerospace companies such as the Eurocopter, Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney and ST Aerospace.

You can also take up a Diploma Plus Programme in Aviation Fundamentals. This programme offers modules which complement the PPL basic flying course offered by the Singapore Youth Flying Club (SYFC)! Thanks to our strong link with them, you can start your PPL training right from Year 1! This will help you cope better with the rigor of PPL training.
Minor in Business Management Delivered by Ngee Ann’s School of Business & Accountancy – Singapore’s premier polytechnic business school – these business modules will equip you with what you need to be an entrepreneur, manager or marketing guru. Paired with your strong foundation in engineering, this optional minor will ensure that you enjoy a far wider range of exciting career and degree opportunities!
With the growth of the global aerospace industry, the development of new airports, and the opening of Singapore’s Seletar Aerospace Park, there is a growing demand for skilled professionals such as Aerospace Technologists. This diploma, which enjoys recognition from many established aerospace organisations, will give you a step-up when exploring such careers. What’s more, our AT curriculum will prepare you for modules in the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) Airworthiness Requirements (SAR 66) examinations so that you can get your licence as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer much sooner!
As an AT grad, you may be offered advanced standing from both local and overseas universities. They include: - Nanyang Technological University
- Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Mechanical or Materials Engineering
- National University of Singapore
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering
