Welcome to the School of Engineering (SoE) website! Here you find a wide range of diploma and diploma-plus courses to equip our students with the necessary knowledge and skills for their future careers. Like all schools in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, SoE aims to provide interdisciplinary and broad-based education with emphasis on nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship in our students. With this mission, SoE produces well-rounded graduates who are ready to face challenges of working in a competitive global economy. SoE has well-equipped laboratories, technology centres and centres of innovation. Students, staff and industry partners use these facilities to learn, explore and solve engineering problems. The results from their research and development work culminate in applications in strategic fields like photonics, nanotechnology, biomedical engineering, environmental engineering and energy technology. SoE encourages participation in technology development by sending staff and students for development and exchange programmes, forming technology clusters, and promoting collaboration with local and overseas organizations. |
