Training Programmes​

Physical Training Programmes are conducted in 8 sessions over four or eight weeks (ie. once or twice weekly). Students will receive a free P3 T-shirt to be worn during training sessions. 2 CCA ‘P’ points, on top of additional prizes, will be awarded to students who attend all 8 training sessions.




4-Week Physical Training Programme

The 4-Week training programme is designed to enable you to pass the NAPFA test within a month with twice weekly training sessions targeting specific stations of the NAPFA test. Together with progressive training and individual monitoring, you can be sure that your performance will improve.

Two runs will be conducted: one in November 2013 (every Tuesday and Thursday) and the other in January 2014 (every Monday and Thursday). Participants who attend all eight training sessions will be awarded 2 CCA ‘P’ points.


The two runs of the 4-Week Physical Training Programme will be conducted on the following dates:

November 2013 :   5   7   12   14   19   21   26   28

8-Week Physical Training Programme

Being a student these days is tough work – busy schedules, meeting deadlines and catching up with friends is all in a day’s work. We know that and so we have designed the 8-Week training programme just for you.

The 8-Week training programme (every Wednesday) will begin in November 2013 with four training sessions. In December, you will be required to plan and carry out your own exercise programme under the guidance and instruction of our Trainers. Another four training sessions will follow in January 2014 and once you have completed it, you can be sure to have Silver for NAPFA in the bag!

Like the 4-week training programme, participants who attend all eight training sessions will be awarded 2 CCA ‘P’ points.

 
The single run of 8-Week Physical Training Programme will be conducted on the following dates:

November 2013 :     6   13   20   27
December 2013 :      Self-Training
January 2014 :         8   15   22   29

Enhanced Physical Training Programmes are conducted in 4 sessions over four Saturdays. 2 CCA ‘P’ points, on top of additional prizes, will be awarded to students who attend all 4 training sessions. 



Enhanced 4-Week Training Programme

Are you a final-year student currently on attachment? We have not forgotten you! In response to numerous requests, a 4-week training programme has been put together specially for students on internship.

The Enhanced 4-Week Training Programme will consist of four training sessions conducted on Saturday mornings at 8.30am. Thus, students who are unable to make it back to school on time during the weekdays for the regular training sessions can still be allowed the opportunity to undergo structured training programmes prior to their NAPFA test.

Participants who attend all four training sessions will receive 2 CCA ‘P’ points. Students who are not on attachment but wish to join this training programme are welcome too! 


The single run of 4-Week Enhanced Physical Training Programme will be conducted on the following dates:

January 2014 :  4   11   18   25
