Gymwerkz will is conducting FREE Aerobics, Kick Boxing and Body Sculpturing courses for NP students! NP students are coming down with election fever and heading to the polls! They're voting for representatives for their Students’ Union and its constituent bodies. Ngee Ann Polytechnic Chinese Orchestra, in conjunction with the National Chinese Orchestra Marathon 2012, organised their 4th concert of the Yin Ku 音库 series. NP's Men's basketball team achieved the third position in the IVP finals held on 7 February at Nanynag Technological University. In the recently concluded 4th TDA DanceSport Championships 2012, Ngee Ann Polytechnic's DanceSport Club captured the lion's share of the gold medals in the Latin categories. A group of students under The Christieara Programme (TCP) who went on a Youth Expedition Project (YEP) to Dumaguete in the Philippines, have put together a photo exhibition of their trip at The Arts House at Old Parliament. The first-ever KPOP Dance Competition organised at tertiary level saw 15 teams from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and various secondary schools, putting up exciting dance moves, as they vie to be crowned the NP KPOP Dance Competition Champs! For the first time ever, 27 student leaders from 15 CCA clubs under 3 CCA clusters - Sports, Arts & Cultural and Community Service - came together for a ten-day YEP service mission to Chiang Mai, Thailand. Two first year students were part of the Singapore Girl’s National Hockey Team that competed in the 3rd Under18 Asian Cup 2011 in Bangkok, Thailand. Three NP students won medals at the Canoe Marathon World Championships held recently in Singapore.
Back from a two-year hiatus, the Ngee Ann Polytechnic Fencing Club is hosting the U-20 fencing Invites this year from 25 to 27 November.
