Performance
1. There are no restrictions on the genre of music to be performed.
2. The Competing Team can decide their performance style.
3. The Competing Team is to keep their actual performance to a maximum of 5 minutes.
4. The Organiser will not be held liable for any injury, damage or loss to the competitors and/or the team’s instruments.
Stage setup
1. The dimension of the stage is 24 feet by 18 feet (actual available size).
2. Competing Teams will be given a maximum of 3 minutes to set up for their performance.
3. Competing Teams will be given a maximum of 2 minutes to clear the stage after finishing their performance.
4. Competing Teams will have to remove all their belongings from the stage after their performance.
Instruments
1. Competing Teams are to bring their own instruments for the competition.
2. Competing Teams are to submit their list of instruments 2 weeks before the competition.
Competition Format
Teams will proceed directly into the finals of the competition based on a first come first serve basis.
Registration
1. The Organiser reserves the right to reject any application deemed unsuitable for the competition.
2. The Organiser reserves the right to reject any incomplete or inaccurate registration forms.
3. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify the team if they are absent from the scheduled (if any) rehearsals.
4. There will be no refund of registration fee in the case of disqualification or withdrawal from the competition.
5. The Organiser reserves the right to restrict or stop the competing team from performing their full music item as a result of factors such as inappropriate attire, exceeding the stipulated time limit, etc.
6. The Competing Team must inform the organiser at least 3 working days in advance if the team is unable to show up for any allocated rehearsal, audition or shortlisting exercise, or wishes to withdraw from the competition.
7. The Competing Team will be held liable for any damage and/or loss of property provided by the organiser.
8. Each Competing Team is allowed to register up to a maximum of 16 performers for the competition.
9. Each Competing Team is to bring along their instruments for the competition.
Registration Fees
1. A registration fee of $50 per competing team is payable. Please check registration form for details on how the registration fee can be paid.
Judging and Awards
1. The judges’ decision is final.
2. The Competing Team consents to allow the use of their names, pictures and other information without further compensation.
3. The Organiser’s decisions regarding the eligibility of prizes are final. All entries are subject to verification before the prize awards ceremony.
4. The Organiser reserves the right to change any rules and regulations stated without prior notice should the need arise.
