Started in 1996 by a group of like-minded young musicians, the SCC has established itself as the CCA to kick start your music or song writing career. You will find yourself in the company of 'big name' alumni such as canto-pop prince, Derrick Ho, and members of local metal giants, Embrace Them Ghosts and Truth of a Beast.

  With a focus on English Pop/Rock music, you will be taught the essentials of song writing including basic musical and compositional theory. Members will undergo a sharing process every activity, to beef up their musical skill set and repertoire as well as build connections and form musical partnerships with other members.

Members are provided with their very own studio, exclusive to the club, for practice sessions and to flesh out their musical ideas.

  A plethora of performance opportunities await members with the biggest and most prestigious being the SCC Annual Concert, a yearly musical extravaganza featuring the best talent the SCC has to offer.

Our activities are from 6-9 PM every Wednesday at Lecture Theatre 78, aside from examination weeks. Do drop by if you are feeling that musical itch.
