The French Cultural Club or 'Club de Francaise' is the de facto heart of all things related to France in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Started in 2003 and re-established in 2010, the club nurtures a community inspired by the French culture and arts.

We meet once every two weeks in the evening for a fun and enriching session. During our club meetings, we would screen French movies with English subtitles to help us better appreciate French. Basic French language and cultural classes are taught. We also introduce French food and to enhance members’ appreciation and understanding of the French Culture.

Every year, we will train and participate in Petanque/Boules IVP championship with other Polytechnics and Universities. We have clinched many prizes since 2007.

Every member also gets to visit Alliance Francaise or museums for different events such as, Francophonie, art gallery visits, French Fair, etc, to have better exposure and insights.

 

We meet on: Fortnightly on Wednesdays, 6-8pm
