The Chinese Orchestra Club was formed in 1970 with the aim of promoting the awareness of Chinese orchestral music in the campus. The orchestra participates actively in performances and takes part in no less than five events each year.

Our Conductor, Chuan Joon Hee, is an accomplished Huqin musician in Singapore and is currently a Zhonghu performer in the Singapore Chinese Orchestra. He is also a Member of the Composers and Authors Society of Singapore, a Committee Member of the Association of Composers (Singapore), an Executive Council member of the Singapore Chinese Orchestra Association and an Executive Member of the Siong Leng Musical Association
