Invitation to the Forensic Science Workshop and Conference

Starting 21st June 2010, the School of Life Sciences and Chemical Technology will be organizing a series of workshops for upper secondary school students on Forensic Science.

The workshop will run from 21st Jun to 20th Aug 2010 and culminate in the Forensic Science Conference on 23rd Sep 2010.

In each workshop, you will assume the role of a forensic scientist and solve a mysterious death! By going through the exciting hands-on activities on DNA extraction and profiling, fingerprint lifting, microscopy and blood-stain detection, you will consolidate evidences to unveil the murderer.

The participation fee is $10.70 per student (including GST) and you will receive a personalized souvenir at the end of the workshop!

All participants are also invited to attend the Forensic Science Conference on 23 Sep 2010. Distinguished speakers from the Singapore Police Force and the Health Sciences Authority will share their insights on Crime Investigation and Forensic Science.
