Leadership in Science education. The Diploma in Biotechnology is Singapore’s first life science Diploma. We have the most extensive research programs with excellent funding. Our class sizes are small and all students have the opportunity for hands-on learning.

Highly qualified staff. All our staff have postgraduate qualifications including Ph.D’s with post-doctoral training from prestigious universities throughout the world. They have many years of research and industrial experience in their chosen fields.

Well-equipped laboratories, design studio, pilot scale chemical engineering labs, aquaculture centre, greenhouse. In 2009, the school officially opened its world class Centre for Biomanufacturing Excellence.

Overseas Internships.  Students in every course have the opportunity for placements in top foreign research institutes and industries in related fields.

Awards, Scholarships and Further Studies. Our students and graduates have won many prestigious awards in many fields (e.g. National Entrepreneurship Competition, Green Wave, Asian Games) and scholarships from local and overseas institutions (e.g. PSC, A*STAR, EDB, UNSW Golden Jubilee) for further studies degree, MSc and PhD levels. To date, 10 LSCT graduates have been accepted into medicine.
