Students from the School of Life Sciences and Chemical Technology can now choose from the following 3 Diploma Plus Programmes:

- Diploma Plus in Chemistry
- Diploma Plus in Business
- Dipoma Plus in Innovation and Enterprise

Students who select the Diploma Plus in Chemistry will complete modules in

- Structural & Physical Organic Chemistry
- Chemical Reaction mechanisms
- Molecular characterisation methods

This Diploma Plus in Chemistry will provide LSCT graduates with a distinctive edge when they pursue their further studies in areas such as life sciences, chemistry and engineering.

Students opting for the Diploma Plus in Business will  select modules relating to business and financial fundamentals such as Starting a Business, Managing your Taxes, Principles of Management, Understanding Financial Statements, Business Communication and Events Management.

Students in the Diploma Plus in Innovation and Enterprise will undertake modules in business, communication and life skills. With this qualification, students will be given up to one-third credit exemptions when they sign up for an additional Diploma in Innovation Management offered by UNSW while pursuing their degree. Students will take three compulsory modules: Understanding Financial Statements, Starting a Business, and Corporate Communications. They can choose other relevant modules such as Investing in the Stock Market, Effective People Management, and Effective Negotiation.
