Shao Biaoming (CE - 2nd yr) won the sixth place in the Ngee Ann Aquathlon Challenge 2006 for the Men’s Open category.

BIO students, Khoo Xin Hui Myra and Mohammed Rizal Bin Rahim, supervised by Ms Ong Li Hui, were nominated as one of the best 3 teams, representing Ngee Ann Polytechnic for the Polytechnic Student Research Project Award with their project entitled ‘Novel Method of Protein Separation’. The Presentation Ceremony was held on 8 Mar 2006. The project was done in collaboration with Assistant Professor Toh Chee Seng, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, National University of Singapore.

Hu Zhen You (BIO - 3rd yr)organised Make Every Day a Little Step (M.E.D.A.L) Games Carnival @ Ngee Ann on 11 December 2005. Zhen You was awarded a letter of commendation on 6 Jan 2006. This was part of the Yellow Ribbon Project to inspire community support in the rehabilitation of ex-offenders and to generate community acceptance of ex-offenders and their families.

Nadia participated in the Equestrian (Show Jumping) events. Ma Jia Jia participated in the Baseball & Softball events. Norisha participated in the Silat events. Yingli participated in the Women’s Volleyball events.
