NP Library is the central custodian of all copy records on behalf of NP. The Library maintains the Copyright Online Database containing all Copyright Declaration Forms to ensure proper record keeping according to the requirements of the Copyright Regulation.  The Database also contains Copyright Guidelines, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) comprising past queries from academic staff, and other useful information.

According to the Copyright Act, you can copy under fair dealing:
- 1 chapter of a book, or 10% of a book without chapters
- 1 article from a periodical/magazine
-  No multiple copies of an item
-  No plagiarism of works
