6 Jun 2003 : Cashless transactions through ePay
Staff and students can now use the self service ePay kiosks for all library charges via NETS ATM card or Cashcard. The kiosks are located in the Lifestyle Library and the 3rd floor of the Academic Library.
Students may also use the kiosks for other forms of payment to Finance. A Cashcard top-up machine is also available in the the Video Zone of the Lifestyle Library.
To facilitate ePay, the overdue charge on media resources has been revised from 20 cents per title to 10 cents per item per day.

6 Jun 2003 : Relocation of Quality Resource Centre
Please note that the Quality Resource Centre (QRC) at Blk 52, Level 3 has been relocated to the Central Library since 1st June 2003.
Staff, students and external members are welcome to use the Central Library for all QRC resources.

14 May 2003 : Reduction of Media & LS AV Fines
Please note that fines for all audio-visual titles have been reduced from 20 cents to 10 cents with immediate effect.
However, with this reduction of fines to 10 cents, all overdue media titles (both Media and Lifestyle) with multiple items, will now be charged on a per item basis.

Please note that with effect from 24/3/03 (Monday), the provision of locker service in the library has been terminated.
All users are to use the electronic lockers located at the Atrium (outside toilet, next to SSIC).

Six video tapes are now available to help students decide on which
IS level 2 modules they could sign up for. The titles of the tapes are

IS module briefing Media & Arts (2)
IS module briefing Lifeskills
Students may borrow the tapes from the Circulation Counter at the Lifestyle Library.
Alternatively, students may check out the online version of the videos at the IS website.

Loan policy for ECH staff remains unchanged.
New Loan Policy for Privileged Membership
With effect from 01 Jan 03, the loan quota for Privileged Membership has been revised to the following:
| Academic Books | 10 items for 30 days |
| LifeStyle Books | 10 items for 30 days |
The loan policy for all other external members remains unchanged.
