New Lifestyle Loan Privileges for Staff

With effect from 2 Jan 2002, the Lifestyle Library loan privileges
will be increased from 6 books to 10 books for 30 days.

All other loan privileges remain unchanged.

In total, your Lifestyle Library loan privileges are as follows:

Type of Resources Quantity Duration
Books 10 30 days
Magazines 3 7 days
Videos 3 14 days
Music CDs 3 14 days

Reservations of Library In-Process Items

We are pleased to make available:

Reservations of In-Process Items directly through OPAC with effect from 1 Dec 2001.

Users will no longer be required to manually fill in a
pink Reservation Card at the Circulation Counter.

Lifestyle Video Loan Privileges for Students

We are pleased to announce that with effect from 1 Dec all students will be able to borrow
1 Lifestyle video for a period of 7 days.

Online Renewals

All library members can now perform renewals via OPAC.
2 renewals are permitted for all library members.
Please note that renewals can only be done on or before the date due.

Reminder for Loans that are Due

Attention : All Students and External Members

We are pleased to inform that we have extended
the automatic reminder service for loans which are due to all library members.

You will receive a reminder via e-mail 5 days before the due date of each loan.

In the event of a network problem, print copies of the reminder will be sent
via internal mail to the Departments, or via post for external members.

All students are reminded to check your Notes e-mail account regularly for library notifications.
