No littering is allowed in the library. Litter should be thrown into the wastepaper baskets provided

Smoking is prohibited in the Library.
Snacks and drinks are permitted only in the Lifestyle Library.

Study places may not be reserved in the Library. Violators will be issued with warning notices. Unattended belongings left in reading places are liable to be removed by library staff.

Library users must sit in the places provided. Tables and chairs should not be misused or moved.

All library materials must be kept clean. Marking, defacing or mutilating library materials is an offence.

The Library does not provide a telephone service for library users and does not accept any incoming calls on their behalf. Users are advised to turn handphones to silent mode

Keep noise volume down to avoid disturbance to other users. Observe silence in the Library. Any user who commits an act of disturbances, such as talking loudly and making noise, will be given a warning notice. Repeat offenders will have to pay a fine of $5.

Audiovisual equipment is for use with library materials only. No viewing of television programs or personal videotapes

For photography or videography, please obtain clearance from Circulation Counter staff.

Ensure that library materials are properly charged out before leaving the exit Checkpoint. Any item not charged out will be considered as theft and be treated as a library disciplinary offence.

The Library bears no responsibility for any loss of personal belongings or properties on its premises.

No misconduct or acts against public decency (eg. physical intimacy) are allowed.

Library users are not permitted to borrow using another person's Card.
