FindArticles.com: A vast archive of published articles that you can search for free. Constantly updated, it contains articles dating back to 1998 from more than 300 magazines and journals. Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA): EBSCOhost. World-class bibliographic database provides coverage on subjects such as librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more. LISTA indexes more than 600 periodicals plus books, research reports, and proceedings. With coverage dating back to the mid-1960s, it is the oldest continuously produced database covering the field of information science.

The Internet Archive : A digital library of "Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form." Includes The Wayback Machine that allows searching of archived Web pages from 1996 to the present. The movies collection archives digital versions of ephemeral films, mostly educational or promotional ones focusing on everyday life in North America during the 20th century. The audio archive houses live recordings available for royalty-free, no-cost public downloads and the texts archive allows access to texts from sources as the Million Book Project, Internet Archive Children's Library, Project Gutenberg, ARPANet and Open Source Books.

ProQuest Digital Dissertations: A database for doctoral dissertations and master's theses from UMI. The database represents the work of authors from over 1,000 North American graduate schools and European universities. Some 47,000 new dissertations and 12,000 new theses are added to the database each year. Free "guest" access privileges allow users to search citations and abstracts for all titles in 1998 and 1999. Only institutional subscribers have access to the entire database.
