Off-Campus Access
Access to many electronic resources (those marked with [Intranet]) on
the Library homepage is restricted to Ngee Ann students, staff and on-campus
users. To access restricted resources from home, you must own a valid
NPNet account (issued by the Computer Centre).
For staff
1) Set-up the VPN.
NP Staff Intranet Menu >Administration>CC Help desk self-service>Home Connection
2) Ensure that the automatic proxy for staff VPN is set up.
NP Staff Intranet Menu>Administration>CC Help desk self-service>Frequently Asked Qns>Internet n Intranet>Configuration guides
3) Log into your VPN using the same ID and password as your office PC.
4) Once the VPN is set-up, go to the Library Home Page (http://www.np.edu.sg/index_library.html) to access all databases
For student
For Microsoft Vista/XP user, please follow instructions from here:
Enable "Use automatic configuration script" in IE and set the address to
http://cache.np.edu.sg/proxy.pac
