CHARITABLE RECYCLING AT SOUTHWEST CDC
Nine I&E in Action students were recognised for their contributions to a charitable recycling project at the Southwest CDC on 17 Jan by the Mayor of South West District and Senior Parlimentary Secretary for Environmental and Water Resources, Dr Amy Khor. Proceeds of the sale of recyclable materials went to needy residents in the South West District. NP students publicised the event and organised the collection of the recyclable materials on 2nd Dec. 

LARGEST YAKULT BOTTLE
A 1.65m giant Yakult artefact created by I&E in Action (Environment pathway) students made it to the Singapore Book of Records on 27Jan 2010 for being the largest Yakult bottle. Students glued 3,200 bottles for the artefact to promote recycling and environmental conservation. LED lights were installed inside the sculpture to illuminate it as a captivating art piece.

A WOMAN'S WORTH CONFERENCE
In a society influenced by migration and globalisation, spousal violence is becoming a social problem. This conference on 9th Nov 2009, at Ngee Ann Convention Center, aimed to promote an awareness of this problem facing Singaporean women.

STOP! (STOP THE OUCH PLEASE!) CAMPAIGN
STOP! is a public education initiative by our very own students. On 4th to the 6th November 2009, various activities such as concerts and fund raisers were held with the main aim of raising awareness about relationship-based violence.
