1. I did my IS Module Preference Ranking(MPR) in December 2008, do I still need to web enrol in October 2009?
Yes, you must still web enrol as MPR is not the IS Module Enrolment. Your IS Module Preference Ranking gives us an indication of your choice of modules and it is used for planning purposes. You will enrol into the modules of your choice during the IS Module Enrolment exercise.
2. I cannot remember what I have chosen during the earlier Module Preference Ranking (MPR) exercise. What can I do?
It does not matter if you have forgotten your earlier choice, please web enrol for the modules of your interest. In future, remember to print your MPR report and keep it for future reference.
3. Do I need to do IS Module Preference Ranking (MPR) if I am currently at sublevel 2.1B and going on to sublevel 3.2 next semester?
All students who are currently at sublevel 2.1B (October 2009) and going to sublevel 3.2 in the next semester (April 2010) do not take IS modules next semester. Therefore you do not have to do MPR (in December 2009).
4. I am unfamiliar with the web user-interface. Where can I find step-by-step instructions for online IS Module Enrolment and IS Module Preference Ranking?
Please refer to the IS page on the Student Intranet Portal and click on a link on "IS Module Enrolment" followed by "IS Module Preference Ranking". You will find the ‘Step-by-Step Tutorial Guide' for IS Module Enrolment and IS Module Preference Ranking.
