Perspectives on the usefulness of Interdisciplinary Studies:
"I know that these skills are going to go with me beyond this class and I can’t wait to explore more areas with the talents I never knew were there. I know that I have something I did not think I had before - the potential to be great at whatever it is I set my mind to.
by Mr Mathen Nainan Philip Ngee Ann Graduate (Diploma in Film, Sound & Video) on the module Self Expression through Drama & Poetry
“This is a good idea on Ngee Ann’s part. My view is that whether a person succeeds or not depends on the soft skills, and not so much the technical skills...One reason why employees lack communication skills and can’t think of ideas is that many do not read beyond their discipline. We need a broad-based culture of learning.”
