Courseware Development Program (Phase 1)

This program was officially implemented in 2008 with the objectives to deepen learner engagement as well as to support new paradigms in learner-centred learning.

Recognizing that quality learning outcomes are best achieved with the considered application of pedagogy and the broader embedding context within which courseware will be deployed, iMC and TLC worked closely with schools/divisions to ensure the quality and relevance of the courseware learning design.

50 courseware projects from across all schools/divisions will be rolled out in April 09/10 Semester. Courseware types include multiplayer games, virtual laboratories, e-learning packages, simulations, branched-learning tools and training videos, with each presenting its unique pedagogical and interactive affordances.

Courseware Development Program (Phase 2)

Phase 2 of the Courseware Development Program will focus on developing courseware projects that are

• High Impact
• Uses IDM-rich features
• Has a hallmark learning feature
