Against budding mobile developers from the universities and polytechnics, ICTian Ian Ng clinched the 3rd prize at the Singapore Android Developers Competition 2011 (SADC 2011).

His game app entitled “Rambo Jambo” is a 3D-augmented reality(AR) fighting game. Players fight mysterious monsters to the bitter finish for the coveted Jambo Jambo Ball.  The mysterious opponents are only unveiled upon scanning the different AR trackers, adding an element of surprise and delight as you seek to triumph over all possible challengers.

Eric Lee, another ICTian also took part in the competition developing a location tracking app.

Organised by NTU, this competition aims to provide young developers with the opportunity to develop innovative apps using the Android platform. Results are decided by the number of downloads for the app.
