About the Diploma

If you would jump at the chance of creating the game environment for the World of Warcraft, you would need a course like the Diploma in Multimedia & Animation (MMA) to take you there. You might just come up with an interactive multimedia experience that takes the world by storm!

Right from the first year, MMA gives you a strong foundation in art, design, and programming. You will also learn pre-production skills in concept design.

In your second year, you can specialise in either Game Art & Design or Interactive Art & Technology . In Game Art & Design, you will pick up game design skills and game engine scripting language that will enable you to design and create a 3D gaming experience. In the Interactive Art & Technology specialisation, you will learn how to develop interactive applications for digital platforms such as the Web, 3D, iPhone and iPad.

In your final year, you will work on a full-fledged multimedia production and gain production and project management experience. What’s more, you will graduate with an impressive industrystandard portfolio.

Career Prospects

With your MMA diploma, you can find jobs in game design, game environment design and modelling, visual interface design, web design, interactive experience design and development.

You might just find yourself working with international corporations or you could start up a high-potential creative business, developing your own interactive media titles.
