We are on the constant look out for good passionate people to be part of our School of InfoComm Technology in the areas of IT and Interactive Digital Media (IDM), as full-time lecturers, part-time adjunct lecturers as well as partners in events and activities.

We are currently recruiting full-time and part-time lecturers for the following positions:

LECTURERS

Position 1 : Lecturer (Digital Animation)                                                      [Ref: ICT/Lecturer/DA]

A Degree in Animation or related discipline with at least three years of industry experience in the animation industry. Competent to plan, develop learning materials and teach in at least three of the following areas:

- Concept Arts
- Sculpting (traditional and digital) 
- 3D Character Animation 
- 3D Modelling & Texturing 
- 3D Character Rigging 

Good working knowledge of the production pipeline of digital animation and good written and verbal communications skills are essential. Prior experience in teaching as well as experience using MAYA and Mudbox will be an advantage. Candidates are expected to submit their showreel and portfolio along with their application. 

A Degree in Information Technology or related discipline with at least two years of working experience in the IT industry.

The candidate is required to work on a funded research project on a contract for 20 months and is expected to perform system implementation, user training, and "live" testing. The right candidate is expected to have knowledge and experience in the following areas:

- Mobile Application Development (Windows Phone/iOS/Android) 
- Microsoft .NET platform
- Objective-C, C/C++, C#, Java 
- Databases
- Web Services  

Good working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and being a good team player are essential. 

Position 5: Technical Support Officer                                                                  [Ref: ICT/TSO]

A Computer Science/Studies Degree or Polytechnic Diploma with at least two years of wokring experience in network/server administration and end user technical support. The candidate should have software development experience in Microsoft .NET and Java platforms. Job requirements include:

- Provide technical and system level support to academic staff and students 
- Prepare workshop materials and conduct technical workshops 
- Provide operation and end user support on notebook and workstation class of computers
- Provide technical support for wired/wireless LAN, laser printer and LCD projection system, SAP, Windows,
  Linux, VMware, Information Security, SQL and Web services software

Strong organizational, oral and written communications skills are essential. The candidate should also have excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.
