ENRICH@HS EyeQ!
If you ask almost anyone about which is their most cherished organ, a significant number will reply that it is their eyes. Yet, how much do we know about them? We know all about IQ, but how much do we know about our EyeQ? In the enrichment programme, you will top up on your EyeQ. You will:
- Learn about the structure of the eye.
- Diagnose the problems through the use of equipment to examine the eye.
- Frame shaping – SIZING the frames according to your face shape.
- Learn about eye function and visual aids by creating your own glasses to see '3D' images.
This fun filled workshop will be conducted by our very own Optometry lecturers, and assisted by Optometry students. Most importantly, it aims to equip students with useful skills and knowledge. Students will get to better understand about the eye and learn to use advance technology equipments to measure eye pressure and detection of eye diseases such as glaucoma.

The Enrich @ HS is our marquee series of enrichment programmes for secondary school system. The branding of these programmes as Enrich @ HS has dual meanings and intent:
- We wish your students can be enriched through their exploration of the exciting world of the health sciences.
- We wish through these activities that we at HS can be enriched by encountering our future students and them with us.
As we finished three calendar year cycle of exciting HS Encounters, another year of potentially invigorating enrichment possibilities beckons. We have re-branded our HS Encounters programme with Enrich@HS. Different names same quality. We hope that your school will look out for and sign up for these planned workshops under this new marque.
