At the School of Health Sciences, we aim to provide the best training for our students to step into their all-important profession as nurses. In addition to a sound and practical curriculum in school, we also pushed our students into the industry on practical training with their potential employers. We are looking at three prongs of approach when it comes to preparing our students to enter the Healthcare industry.

Our students are attached to various healthcare sector institutions to get a full breadth of training to prepare them for their career. In addition to preparing our students to have better professional skills, CAs also serve enable our students to get a sense of what working for their future employers would be like. Not to be left out, our Optometry students also will receive excellent on-the-job training where they will be immerse in the work environment of full-fledged optometry clinic. Through their final year project (FYP) assignment. our students learn the nuances of healthcare research. Likewise our supervising staff also keep current with the developments in the industry with their supervision of our FYP students and through their self-initiated research with industry partners. Our alumni are our pride and joy. It is there whom we have entrusted our hope that they will established a sound career footing and in doing so, serve our society well. You can access this Facebook group by clicking on the icon below.	Our education is endorsed by the Singapore Nursing Board. This endorsement meant that our graduates will all be Registered Nurses. In addition, we also encourage our students to join the Singapore Nurses Association (SNa) or join the Ngee Ann Polytechnic Chapter of the SNa while they are still students. Through these associations, we hope they will learn to establish their professional networks even before they enter their industry. Our Optometry students are similarly licensed to practice in Singapore upon graduation for their curriculum is always endorsed by the Optometrists & Opticians Board in Singapore.
