Entry requirements for GCE ‘O’ Level holders (or equivalent) are :

** Candidates with English as a second language (EL2) must have attained a minimum grade of C6.

Candidates must have also met the requirements for aggregate computation.

The aggregate computation for selection is based on grades obtained for English, Mathematics, Science (with Physics or Chemistry or Biology component) or Food & Nutrition or Human & Social Biology or General Science and two other subjects (excluding CCA).

Entry requirements for NITEC (Nursing) are :

ITE graduates with GPA of 3.5 and above are eligible for direct admission to the first year second semester of the Diploma in Health Sciences (Nursing) (HSN). This is an exemption of the first semester of year one studies in HSN.

ITE graduates with GPA of less than 3.5 but above GPA 3.0 are to have at least one years working experience and a recommendation by the respective hospital. Successful applicants will be admitted to the first year with no exemption of any modules.

*Due to the special requirements of the healthcare profession, all candidates have to pass a medical examination and be free from physical handicap to ensure suitability.
