“Hong Joon is an engineer by training and he enjoys problem solving especially when it requires creativity. As an educator, he finds great satisfaction in helping students learn better. He is a strong advocate of Applied Learning and he helped set up the School of Science and Technology, Singapore (SST) to bring applied learning to the Secondary School level.
Hong Joon is an active sportsman and is one who believes that CCA & sports help build character. As a student in NP, Hong Joon represented the poly in soccer. Besides jogging and going to the gym, he now plays badminton regularly and soccer occasionally.
