“Meera has been in the healthcare industry for the past 37 years in varied areas in the clinical, administrative and educational fields. She constantly strives to optimize student engagement and success by continuous improvements in the way she conducts her lessons.
She is a firm believer in active learning and always tries to maintain a very lively and interactive classroom. To her, teaching is not about lecturing to students. It is about presenting theories, concepts, and empirical material to students in ways in which they can integrate into their own life experience.
