Radio Heatwave is Singapore's first campus radio station. Established in 1992, the station is managed by final-year Advanced Radio Production students from the Mass Communication programme offered by the School of Film and Media Studies. Radio Heatwave also participates in external events, providing music and emcees.
UrbanWire is an online entertainment and lifestyle news magazine produced by Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s final-year online journalism students. It targets 18- to 25-year-olds, with the aim of giving them a voice, a virtual community and an engaging read.
HYPE is a free bi-annual entertainment and lifestyle magazine created by youths for youths. Produced by final-year Print Journalism students from the School of Film & Media Studies, the magazine is distributed to more than 40 youth-oriented F&B, fashion and food outlets.
A campus newspaper produced by Ngee Ann's final-year Journalism students primarily for the Ngee Ann community. Established since 1993, the quarterly publication has a strong readership of 14,000. It is available at Ngee Ann's academic offices, Student Services Centre and Lien Ying Chow Library.
The brainchild of a group of film enthusiasts from the School of Film and Media Studies, SGNewWave is composed of students with different training in film production, film studies and mass communications, working together towards the goal of spreading the love of cinema and creating Ngee Ann's own film movement.
