This Year, Even Our Girls Took On The Challenge!
On 25 July 2010, 13 HMS students (11 male and 2 female) together with HMS lecturer, Dr Redante Delizo Mendoza, took part in Hair for Hope 2010 at Vivocity. Together, they raised a total of over $2,200 in donations and pledges.
Hair For Hope is an event organised by the Children’s Cancer Foundation which invites members of the public to shave their heads to show their support for children with cancer. Through this symbolic gesture, it aims to create awareness of childhood cancer in Singapore, show to children with cancer and their families that they are not alone in their fight against cancer and raise funds to help children with cancer and their families
